Madonna Madness!
The album was way below expectations for me. :( I’m a huge fan of vintage Madonna hits from way back then. Songs like ‘Holiday”, ‘Material Girl’, ‘Like a Virgin” are undoubtedly my all time favourite Madonna songs, I’m definitely not one that is all crazy about her later albums but i still give them a listen from time to time. I was attracted by the fast paced beat of the album’s first single, ‘Give me all your luvin’ but really … it wasn’r a song that an artiste that has been in the industry as long as her should have released. I felt that in a sense, it was very Kesha or Katy Perry-ish.
The music video is a completely different story. Nothing but sheer amusement bit me when I watched it. I found it extremely amusing that she was running around a field with football players when in reality, she was old enough to be their mother.
The standard of the music on this album is nothing but disappointing. :( I
